		<description>Yes, pound signs should be unnecessary, due to the fact you don't actually want ColdFusion to evaluate that string as a variable, but instead it is a HTTP reference for an image source. I did have a typo in my second code block where the ampersand was escaped. I have since corrected this after seeing your comment. However, the revisited code is not returning an image like the first example provided.  The text of the function call is going in instead of the return value (the image).  I need to be a able to run this code in a loop along with some other content.
