Eragon

Went to the movies for the first time in a while. Tabitha and I went and saw Eragon. First allow me to state that I’ve never read the book(s), so I had no particular expectations going into this.

Overall the movie was pretty good. Nothing to write home about, but really nice special effects, and when the action finally really kicked in, good action sequences. I like some of the fantasy concepts put into place here, so I suspect that the books are probably pretty good. I think I shall get them.

Eragon was a kickass movie. I’ve read the first book, Eragon..and after about a year after having Eldest, the sequal, I’ve just started reading it. Not sure why I stopped reading. anyways.

If you like the movie, you’ll love the book. They whole middle of the book inst included in the movie, which is understandable because the book is like 600 pages and would be a 3-4 hour movie (course I wouldent mind). Anyways, I can’t wait until Christopher Paolini, the author, writes the last book of the Trilogy, and I can’t wait until the movies come out too. The scenes with the dragons flying and at the end where she breathed fire litterally got me right here (points heart), not sure why, but it did :).
